When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rostislav Múnkov sped through IFK Kik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Botvidsson. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position.
