The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Maximino Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mickael Wuyts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Cabezon went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Bahía é Carnaval's zone, Maximino Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickael Wuyts came out of the goal and Maximino Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahía é Carnaval's goalie prevented a goal. Mickael Wuyts came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon. But to his dismay, Maximino Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Maximino Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Maximino Cabezon sped through Bahía é Carnaval's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mickael Wuyts. Maximino Cabezon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickael Wuyts having to make a save. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Mickael Wuyts came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon. But to his dismay, Maximino Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half ACF Fiorentina were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of ACF Fiorentina booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Maximino Cabezon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ACF Fiorentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Maximino Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mickael Wuyts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. Maximino Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickael Wuyts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Saturnino Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Ariel Jesus replaced Maximino Cabezon. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Teofilio was substituted for Rigoberto Rozarius. ACF Fiorentina's Godofredo Suarez was substituted for Saturnino Michael. Federico Teofilio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mickael Wuyts came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Teofilio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 76th minute. Mickael Wuyts was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Godofredo Suarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Godofredo Suarez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Emilio Lucado's late challenge caught a ACF Fiorentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Lucado helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Lucado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, ACF Fiorentina's Federico Teofilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mickael Wuyts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Claudinei Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. ACF Fiorentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
