Asmun Doukali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diljan Dzaferi in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Morocco's goal looked a bit too open when Vidoe Gegovski came free, but Asmun Doukali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morocco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Morocco defense, Ramadan Hristov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asmun Doukali. The Morocco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asmun Doukali should have stopped the shot.
