Skapti Kyrk came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dean Watts could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Laing in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Lang saved Gröne Jägarens BK from getting behind. Gröne Jägarens BK's Ove Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Daniel Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gröne Jägarens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Duset in the 44th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Gröne Jägarens BK's corner Ove Duset fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dean Watts quite easily take care of the ball. Gröne Jägarens BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Skapti Kyrk in the 47th minute. Skapti Kyrk made a great header on Gröne Jägarens BK's corner, it was just that Amputees FC's Dean Watts managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Abraham Laing made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ed Mckinley made a precise shot to the right of Ian Lang. Gröne Jägarens BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Daniel Asklund came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Gröne Jägarens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Asklund couldn't finish the play. Gröne Jägarens BK's Ove Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gröne Jägarens BK's Daniel Asklund in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gröne Jägarens BK's Ian Lang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Gröne Jägarens BK from getting a goal against them. Ian Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Laing in the 73rd minute. Abraham Laing had several of the Gröne Jägarens BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Ian Lang as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 78th minute, Skapti Kyrk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Duset, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute, Ove Duset left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gröne Jägarens BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After having played for 84 minutes, Daniel Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gröne Jägarens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daniel Asklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Amputees FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
