Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Braulio Gartxot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frank Soto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Braulio Gartxot made a huge save. Frank Soto in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Braulio Gartxot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marcel da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fello Serrano's late challenge caught a Red Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fello Serrano helped the player get up and apologised. Fello Serrano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 42nd minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Mena in the 52nd minute of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. LinuX F.C. made a substitution. Krister Hermansson replaced Fello Serrano. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmer Lozano in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Marcel da Rocha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Arias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sotos Zervoulakos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Deyna charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kazimierz Deyna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Bernardo Arias managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel da Rocha got free with Bernardo Arias in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Manrique Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmer Lozano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Sibaja in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Kazimierz Deyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Wilmer Guadamuz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
