Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldi Soputan in the 6th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Red Devils got a corner. BK Tåfjutt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sotos Zervoulakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Red Devils's corner Sotos Zervoulakos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charlie Dahlgren quite easily take care of the ball. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils from getting a goal against them. Red Devils's Vinicio Jakes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kjell Källberg in the 25 minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in BK Tåfjutt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute, Marcel da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charlie Dahlgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Åke Linberg. Charlie Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Solibieda in the 34th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldi Soputan to make the kick off. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldi Soputan in the 51st minute of play. Red Devils were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after BK Tåfjutt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sotos Zervoulakos took the corner. A collision led to BK Tåfjutt getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rolando Ayala hit a great ball. Sotos Zervoulakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes of play, Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charlie Dahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna was substituted for Radoslaw Solibieda. Erland Arenius made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stellan Enegren however managed to control. Charlie Dahlgren was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Marcel da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. BK Tåfjutt's Lennart Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Marcel da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel da Rocha got free with Charlie Dahlgren in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charlie Dahlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 92nd minute. Charlie Dahlgren was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Marcel da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
