In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Ayala. When Elmer Lozano came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the LinuX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmer Lozano couldn't finish the play. BK Tåfjutt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ernst Dalman in the 13th minute. BK Tåfjutt's Ernst Dalman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Arias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, BK Tåfjutt's Bernardo Arias threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldi Soputan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Bernardo Arias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldi Soputan in the 23rd minute of play. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Linberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LinuX F.C. from getting a goal against them. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Koch in the 33rd minute of play. Bernardo Arias made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Bengt-Åke Linberg sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldi Soputan. If Reynaldi Soputan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Emil Koch notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias. Bernardo Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Emil Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minor Godinez in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Erland Arenius. In the 93rd match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tulio Burgos to maneuver through the defense. BK Tåfjutt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
