Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barnaba Pilsudski kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin got control of the ball when Karl-Heinz Kaltz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Mathijs Rokeloos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Axell Verduin. Mathijs Rokeloos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 14 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Joe Vandamme. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé 武松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axell Verduin made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathijs Rokeloos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. Karl-Heinz Kaltz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Verduin having to interfere. Mathijs Rokeloos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axell Verduin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Wauters in the 33rd minute. Matthias Wauters's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Axell Verduin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the FC Gullegem defense, Matthias Wauters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axell Verduin. The FC Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axell Verduin should have stopped the shot. Matthias Wauters took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. FC Gullegem made a substitution. Waut Du Molin replaced Emanuel De Roest. In the 47thth minute of the game Barnaba Pilsudski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathijs Rokeloos was the one to do the kick off. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes FC Gullegem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Wauters who took care of the corner kick. In the 63rd minute of the game Jochen Van den Panhuizen made a throw-in which Dé 武松 played forward. Axell Verduin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathijs Rokeloos went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre-Paul Callaerts hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. KFC Cromvelde's Henry Åkesson was substituted for Mathijs Rokeloos. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Paul Callaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Verduin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barnaba Pilsudski struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gullegem. In the 88th minute Karl-Heinz Kaltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 武松 in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Cromvelde had won after a very even match.
