Mathijs Rokeloos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos made a precise shot to the right of Ben Dillemans. Winksele 2016's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Kaltz came free, but Ben Dillemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Winksele 2016 defense, Dé 武松 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Dillemans. The Winksele 2016 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Dillemans should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnauld Van Eycke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Eycke, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ben Dillemans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Heinz Kaltz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. In the 84th minute Henry Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Dillemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Henry Åkesson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ben Dillemans, 0-8. Winksele 2016's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Henry Åkesson scored to the left of an out of position Ben Dillemans, making the score, 0-10. Ben Dillemans came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松. But to his dismay, Dé 武松 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. KFC Cromvelde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
