The audience was convinced that Adam Zakrzewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Iovanovici was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Horia Gurlui hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's Rostyslav Leonenko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The FC WAWER fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when FC WAWER's Adam Zakrzewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Adam Zakrzewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Iovanovici came out of the goal and Adam Zakrzewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Iovanovici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Jandryca in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Adam Zakrzewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Romeo Iovanovici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeo Iovanovici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Zakrzewski's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Romeo Iovanovici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Zakrzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Adam Zakrzewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Romeo Iovanovici when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Maxim Fința fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Maxim Fința a yellow card for diving instead. FC WAWER made a substitution. Fatih Özbay replaced Zenon Jandryca. Maxim Fința hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see FC WAWER's Borys Palzewicz in action when he in the 67th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Romeo Iovanovici was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Fatih Özbay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fatih Özbay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, FC WAWER's Fatih Özbay got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fatih Özbay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Romeo Iovanovici skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Sabău in the 78th minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper David Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Özbay in the 91st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Romeo Iovanovici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Damian in the 93rd minute of the match. The DINAMO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC WAWER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
