Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Cajigal started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubio Zumiza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Castanheiro SC's zone, Leopoldo Cajigal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Guimarães came out of the goal and Leopoldo Cajigal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zenaido Ayerza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Guimarães having to interfere. Rubio Zumiza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidensio Arranz got free with Pedrinho Guimarães in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fire Breathers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anísio Alagoano was slow to take the kick. During this time Castanheiro SC's players had a chance to rest. Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubio Zumiza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fidensio Arranz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedrinho Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benedito Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Mineiro couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Vianna. After a rather tough play, Fire Breathers FC's Fonda Gabriel got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Umberto Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubio Zumiza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fire Breathers FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Célio Vianna hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's Solustiano Tudela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Dionísio came free, but Rubio Zumiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubio Zumiza made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Umberto Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fonda Gabriel hit a great ball. Solustiano Tudela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger was substituted for Magno Pereira. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Mauro Sarmento replaced Anísio Alagoano. Rubio Zumiza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fire Breathers FC's Rubio Zumiza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Breathers FC from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the game, Célio Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Breathers FC the free kick. In the 68th minute, Célio Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leopoldo Cajigal came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Fire Breathers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Cajigal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidensio Arranz in the 73rd minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fire Breathers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Solustiano Tudela in the 74th minute. Rubio Zumiza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Nilson Veloso from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Rubio Zumiza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tauro Almuzara hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Benedito Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Leopoldo Cajigal fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Breathers FC's protests and gave Leopoldo Cajigal a yellow card for diving instead. Leopoldo Cajigal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rubio Zumiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 89th minute of the match. When Nilson Veloso fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Nilson Veloso a yellow card for diving instead. The Castanheiro SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
