In the 29th minute, Iordache Strugure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petro Atlético fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 38 minutes into the game, Iordache Strugure cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tiaguinho Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petro Atlético's Daniel Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno de Andrade in the 42nd minute of play. Tiaguinho Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Strugure in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Strugure got free with Tiaguinho Amaral in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiaguinho Amaral made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Iordache Strugure sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Mendes in the 89th minute of play forced Joinville Fatal Model's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Joinville Fatal Model's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Strugure. The Petro Atlético supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Petro Atlético would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
