He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saco FC reached it. Jannich Brolyng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Jarud hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Chung in the 14th minute of play. Ramon Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titus Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Jarud in the 25th minute of play. Titus Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sivart Ernskov's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Sergio Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kentucky Mustangs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saco FC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Kentucky Mustangs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Correa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Saco FC booed when Kentucky Mustangs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kentucky Mustangs's Ramon Chung got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Pelle Varbæk fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saco FC's protests and gave Pelle Varbæk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Saco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Varbæk to maneuver through the defense. Titus Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sivart Ernskov went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kentucky Mustangs's zone, Mark Jarud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Titus Fernandez came out of the goal and Mark Jarud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melvin Snyder hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Kentucky Mustangs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saco FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sivart Ernskov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Titus Fernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Saco FC's Sivart Ernskov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65thth minute of the game Sivart Ernskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kentucky Mustangs's Titus Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Bellamy hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Sivart Ernskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titus Fernandez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mark Jarud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. Titus Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Jarud in the 86th minute. Sivart Ernskovs short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Titus Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Saco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kentucky Mustangs.
