A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gabin Lièvin hit a great ball. The supporters of Simared -MM- booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavian Garcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Ernest Enoaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Damian Stana. After a rather tough play, Simared -MM-'s Martin Necula got a free kick in the 14th minute. Johan Dufrenne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Honoré Villot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flavian Garcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute of the match, Flavian Garcon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marius Griguță saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A sloppy throw-in by Adam Boșneag in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rathmore Lime Tree's Honoré Villot. Flavian Garcon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Griguță having to interfere. Ramzi Roulleau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marius Griguță made a huge save. If Ernest Enoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Honoré Villot. Alix Geoffray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Enoaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes of play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Ramzi Roulleau made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marius Griguță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simared -MM- made a substitution. Valeriu Balaban replaced Ernest Enoaia. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simared -MM-'s Valeriu Balaban got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Măgură's late challenge caught a Rathmore Lime Tree's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Măgură helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Simared -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rathmore Lime Tree:s goal. Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Benoît Lamarre replaced Paul-Émile Brien. Simared -MM-'s Nicodim Codrea was substituted for Dumitru Miron. Marius Griguță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzi Roulleau in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Benoît Lamarre hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Stana to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Johan Dufrenne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Griguță skillfully saved the ball. Valeriu Balaban succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 80th playminute. In the 95th minute, Edgar Pârlea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray didn't even have to move. In the 96th minute, Valeriu Balaban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
