An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Rzeszutko in the 3rd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramzi Roulleau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martial Hess's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martial Hess helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Modlau booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Hess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulryk Tworek made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dobromir Rzeszutko however managed to control. After 12 minutes of play, Modlau's Dobromir Rzeszutko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alix Geoffray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alix Geoffray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateusz Pryputnicki went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Stasio Starogardzki was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Ramzi Roulleau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramzi Roulleau really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Modlau's Mateusz Pryputnicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alix Geoffray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul-Émile Brien kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Pryputnicki came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Wojno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alix Geoffray. Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavian Garcon to make the kick off. Flavian Garcon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stasio Starogardzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ramzi Roulleau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Starogardzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Garcon to maneuver through the defense. Rathmore Lime Tree's Christophe Reibel was substituted for Bakary Guinaudeau. Modlau made a substitution. Tolek Zieba replaced Michal Zdeb. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Flavian Garcon hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Rzeszutko came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Johan Dufrenne fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Johan Dufrenne a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Martial Hess. 77 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobromir Rzeszutko. Ramzi Roulleau charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramzi Roulleau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Ramzi Roulleau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray got control of the ball when Tolek Zieba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alix Geoffray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Zieba went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Mateusz Pryputnicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Modlau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Modlau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
