Arias Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Bocanegra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Fano in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Cassia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Wilson Cassia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26th play minutes Luizão Bocanegra shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Arias Burgo and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Maximo León got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Wilson Cassia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Fano in the 35th minute of the match. C.A. GUAYACO's Arias Burgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean de Barros in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Marco Ureña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Cassia. A.A. Francana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Ureña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 46 minutes into the game, Raí da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A. Francana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. In the 46th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí da Silva to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Luizão Bocanegra made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Lucio Fano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute, Lucio Fano made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Cassia. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Xiao Gaztelumendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Wilson Cassia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When A.A. Francana's Luizão Bocanegra in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 62 in the game by Lucio Fano from a close distance when the talented Wilson Cassia managed to make a qualified save. A.A. Francana's players were relieved. Wilson Cassia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Fano's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A. Francana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnny Arona was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. GUAYACO's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Marco Ureña managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 66 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Fano came free, but Wilson Cassia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luizão Bocanegra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arias Burgo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Lucio Fano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Cassia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. C.A. In the 89th minute of the match, Lucio Fano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Cassia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded C.A. GUAYACO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.A. Francana.
