Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iwo Tamulewicz started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Iwo Tamulewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandu Alungulesei was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After having played for 6 minutes, Iwo Tamulewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dacians Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Tamulewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Anghel in the 7th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Sandu Alungulesei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Trifon Ivanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emerald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dacians Academy the free kick. After 9 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Ivanov. Sandu Alungulesei made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Xavi Popescu sent off a good shot on target. Dacians Academy's Fermin Prejun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandu Alungulesei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manole Anghel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sandu Alungulesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Emerald booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sercan Özerkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam Druga came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Emerald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Druga couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Iwo Tamulewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dacians Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Tamulewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandu Alungulesei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Declan Rice to maneuver through the defense.
Iwo Tamulewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sandu Alungulesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes Emerald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Prejun who took care of the corner kick. Iwo Tamulewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Alungulesei having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's Iwo Tamulewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandu Alungulesei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dacians Academy's Siluna Flores managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xamo Zubiaur in the 62 minute of the game. Sandu Alungulesei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when Emerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Declan Rice didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Iwo Tamulewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sandu Alungulesei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emerald's Andrei Alexandrescu was substituted for Adam Druga. Sandu Alungulesei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Anghel in the 76th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Sandu Alungulesei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Alungulesei came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Dacians Academy's Manole Anghel. But to his dismay, Manole Anghel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Stelian Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Stelian Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Alexandrescu in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Piţurcă got free with Stelian Butuc in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Dacians Academy defense, Victor Piţurcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelian Butuc. The Dacians Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelian Butuc should have stopped the shot. Dacians Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
