Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Manuel Isăilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 21st minute Răzvan Ioanițiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Manuel Isăilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Omescu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
