In the 13th minute Tivadar Demeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ali Olgaç hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by József Varga in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LEBEG Team's Mehmet Ali Olgaç. 20 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Leiva. LEBEG Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tivadar Demeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arif Ozan Nefer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The corner led LEBEG Team's Bolli Boll to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnold Szuper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Zapolski in the 32nd minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Thiago Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolli Boll was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tivadar Demeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Leiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Thiago Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Arturo Zapolski made the kick off in the second half. Tivadar Demeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 97th minute of play forced LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Thiago Leiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Leiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Szombathely Squirrels walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
