But to his dismay, Anselmo Betadur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The VAMO ARRIBA fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when VAMO ARRIBA's Anselmo Betadur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Betadur in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aureliano Pacifico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Porfiro charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Porfiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcos Porfiro hit a great ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Pacifico having to interfere. VAMO ARRIBA's Paulo Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save VAMO ARRIBA from getting a goal against them. Jairo Efren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Paulo Astigar made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Florencio Telesforo sent off a good shot on target. The Academia Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VAMO ARRIBA were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Betadur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo James's late challenge caught a Academia Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo James helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VAMO ARRIBA's Eduardo James got a free kick in the 54th minute. Anselmo Betadur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Aureliano Pacifico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victorio Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Astigar having to interfere. VAMO ARRIBA's Paulo Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Phelipe in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Betadur got free with Aureliano Pacifico in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play Academia Club's Marcos Porfiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 81st minute, Dionisio Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Joaquin Phelipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Paulo Astigar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The VAMO ARRIBA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
