The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Perpinya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Apolo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gervasio Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Placido Haimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaudencio Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cachiyuyo EAS's Iker Transito managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcial Belasko in the 51 minute of the game. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Anier Guipuzkoa sped through Cachiyuyo EAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Placido Haimar. When Mauricio Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Simbo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Jurdan couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Rito. 89 minutes into the match, Anier Guipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Haimar. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Guipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. There was no doubt that Simbo FC were the better team. Simbo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
