In the 3rd minute Bruno Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Behe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 5th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Juan dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Joaquin Nofre notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FALCÕES VERDES's Juan dos Santos. Juan dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 8 minutes of play, FALCÕES VERDES's Bruno Lenzi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Behe was left in no man's land by his defense there! FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Deportivo Balvanera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubens de Toledo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rubens de Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Behe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the game, Isaltino Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FALCÕES VERDES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Balvanera the free kick. In the 14th minute, Isaltino Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Fabricio Errapel got a free kick in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The FALCÕES VERDES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Venancio Chaime replaced Florencio Paz. In the 65th minute, Esteban Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Bruno Lenzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Behe. The goal made the score 2-3. After some careless play in the FALCÕES VERDES defense, Severiano Taurino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan dos Santos. The FALCÕES VERDES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Ramiro Quin replaced Gilberto Inautzi. FALCÕES VERDES's Juan dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Milito in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Vieira during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Vieira to maneuver through the defense.
