After 31 minutes LZS Turawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomil Michnik who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Radomil Michnik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LZS Turawa's Piotr Wyrzykowski did a great save. If Damazy Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, LZS Turawa's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Majewski came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Damian Majewski made a precise shot to the right of Piotr Wyrzykowski. LZS Turawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Damazy Joks sped through LZS Turawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Piotr Wyrzykowski. Ludwig Walas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Roland Treppa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. Witomir Bobrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Piotr Wyrzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Majewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poland were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after LZS Turawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomil Michnik took the corner. The Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. LZS Turawa's Piotr Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 80th minute of play. Poland's Radomil Michnik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, LZS Turawa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Traczewski came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Poland booed when LZS Turawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Walas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Poland's Tadeusz Raschke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piotr Wyrzykowski. That made the score 0-6 after 92 minutes of play. Poland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
