Alfredo Catarinense was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the A.D Leônico defense, Quentin Pope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dagoberto Veiga. The A.D Leônico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Veiga should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Vatan Kambay made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Bezerra. The wind increased when Quentin Pope made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Kambay in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Blomberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
