Uba Uba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Gustavsson in the 7th minute of play forced Norra Sandby FF's goalkeeper Uba Uba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norra Sandby FF's Uba Uba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Gustavsson in the 7th minute of play. Otto Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Vacker in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newcastle United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manfred Vacker was slow to take the kick. During this time Norra Sandby FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Norra Sandby FF's Evert Låsberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Norra Sandby FF's Uba Uba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cordeiro in the 17th minute of play. Uba Uba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Marko Gustavsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uba Uba. Norra Sandby FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Gustavsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Claes Ahlroht nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uba Uba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Finman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otto Hermansson. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. Uba Uba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Ahlroht in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Norra Sandby FF's Thor Bållström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thor Bållström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Norra Sandby FF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thor Bållström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th match minute, Norra Sandby FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Bållström to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Norra Sandby FF's zone, Nichifor Crivoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uba Uba came out of the goal and Nichifor Crivoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uba Uba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Newcastle United FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evert Wester was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Norra Sandby FF's goalkeeper Uba Uba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Ahlroht. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Gustavsson got free with Uba Uba in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norra Sandby FF's Uba Uba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cordeiro in the 58th minute of play. Newcastle United FC's Robert Hökqvist was substituted for Marko Gustavsson. Manfred Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Otto Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uba Uba made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Robert Hökqvist sent off a good shot on target. Newcastle United FC's Otto Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Vacker in the 68th minute of play. Uba Uba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cordeiro in the 71st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Norra Sandby FF got a freekick which was hit by Agne Lindberg. 83 minutes into the game, Robert Hökqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Uba Uba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magnus Holmgren made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Hökqvist however managed to control. In the 88th minute, Aaron Knutsson made a precise shot to the right of Uba Uba. Norra Sandby FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. With a little luck, Norra Sandby FF's Uba Uba got control of the ball when Robert Hökqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
