The audience thought a goal was coming when Pico Efunkoya got free with Izidors Boldāns in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrejs Unbolds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Andrejs Unbolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivils Burss in the 24th minute of play forced Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Julian Zakrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Zakrzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrejs Unbolds's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goal looked a bit too open when Andrejs Unbolds came free, but Julian Zakrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kujawiak Włocławek's Pico Efunkoya got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aivils Burss in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of FC Nereta booed when Kujawiak Włocławek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pico Efunkoya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrejs Unbolds in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Zakrzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Kaczmarek to make the kick off. Julian Zakrzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrejs Unbolds's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kujawiak Włocławek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agnis Pabrūklis was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Nereta's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Agnis Pabrūklis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski did a great save. Anatols Putenis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Pico Efunkoya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 minutes, Pico Efunkoya made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kujawiak Włocławek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Andrejs Unbolds scored to the left of an out of position Julian Zakrzewski, making the score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kujawiak Włocławek's zone, Aivils Burss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Zakrzewski came out of the goal and Aivils Burss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Izidors Boldāns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Kaczmarek in the 75th minute of play. Izidors Boldāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Trynda, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Julian Zakrzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrejs Unbolds. Andrejs Unbolds had several of the Kujawiak Włocławek's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Julian Zakrzewski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Izidors Boldāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Kaczmarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes FC Nereta got a freekick which was hit by Kristaps Zaumanis. In the 88th minute of the match Miromir Debowy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Izidors Boldāns skillfully saved the ball. Pico Efunkoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izidors Boldāns having to interfere. Aivils Burss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Julian Zakrzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Nereta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
