After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna 86 Szczecin's zone, Bambang Bamba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Janoško came out of the goal and Bambang Bamba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Smolarek in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Kazanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spurs To Glory getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz hit a great ball. The supporters of Spurs To Glory booed when Fortuna 86 Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Nuszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bambang Bamba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Janoško made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bambang Bamba in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Iwan Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Smolarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Kazanowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Aleksander Kocieniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Janoško didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bambang Bamba went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. But to his dismay, Bambang Bamba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwan Smolarek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zygmunt Nuszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Mikolaj Degutis struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marian Janoško didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurs To Glory. If Bambang Bamba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Marian Janoško played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bambang Bamba in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Spurs To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Janoško showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganga Banga in the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ganga Banga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Janoško was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Wit Flis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Degutis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Janoško read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Spurs To Glory eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
