In the 13thth minute of the game Pete Sampras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARMUS S.A. OFF's Cesar Toribio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Vincent Linberg put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cesar Toribio. In the 20th minute, Leonides Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Sampras in the 36th minute of play forced ARMUS S.A. OFF's goalkeeper Cesar Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, ARMUS S.A. OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Wilander came free, but Cesar Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Andre Agassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evelio Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Agassi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match, Pete Sampras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cesar Toribio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute, Andre Agassi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cesar Toribio. The goal made the score 0-5. MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin was substituted for Östen Vennersten. Cesar Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Agassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ARMUS S.A. OFF's Cesar Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Sampras in the 69th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Andre Agassi made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. ARMUS S.A. OFF's Cesar Toribio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Andre Agassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Agassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cesar Toribio made a huge save. Cesar Toribio made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Pete Sampras sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Alex Vallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 93rd minute, Pete Sampras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ARMUS S.A. OFF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MAFFIAN were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
