An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 17th minute of play forced Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Jacob Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Toninho Grau fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Toninho Grau a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th match minute, Kwyjibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Librado Erruz to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kwyjibo! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Morro Grande E.C. Habib Ali Picavea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacob Lago. 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Jacob Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Ali Picavea. In the 42nd play minute Hélder Velasco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacob Lago. 3-1. 47 minutes in the game, Ronaldinho Meira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacob Lago having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Meira in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Lago saved Kwyjibo from getting behind. When Librado Erruz fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kwyjibo's protests and gave Librado Erruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Librado Erruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Soeiro was substituted for Kaká Sampaio. After 74 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Librado Erruz. In the 83rd minute Hélder Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber Brodel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Porfiro Caraduje sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Hélder Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Lago. Kwyjibo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jacob Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Soeiro in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Toninho Grau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Morro Grande E.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
