With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Asier in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Safet Hands saved The Obscurials from getting behind. Adriano Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Meder having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Baltasar Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Ribeiro scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Meder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Adriano Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Anders Westerstrand. Nicolas Bizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safet Hands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Bizi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Adriano Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Meder came out of the goal and Adriano Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Ribeiro went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Baltasar Meder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Leones FC's Baltasar Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 41st minute of play. After 45 minutes, Edgardo Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the The Obscurials players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Calvino. Danton Keam was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Westerstrand made a kick off. Adriano Ribeiro had several of the Leones FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Baltasar Meder as he didn't even see the shot coming. Baltasar Meder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Ribeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. If Adriano Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Baltasar Meder made a huge save. The Obscurials made a substitution. Cliff Rowden replaced Danton Keam. 69 minutes into the match, Martin Asier notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of The Obscurials's Safet Hands. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baltasar Meder made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Anders Westerstrand sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Adriano Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Meder. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Meder should have stopped the shot. The The Obscurials fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anders Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
