Arnoud Vlimmens made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bernardo Sharkin sent off a good shot on target. Arnoud Vlimmens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Creemers in the 69th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Walter De Hoef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Antwerp FC and the VC zoetwater players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Royal Antwerp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter De Hoef didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Bernardo Sharkin lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Arnoud Vlimmens. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Ive Volckaerts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernardo Sharkin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Arnoud Vlimmens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Royal Antwerp FC's Arnoud Vlimmens got control of the ball when Gusztáv Bács tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Arnoud Vlimmens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Sharkin. Bernardo Sharkin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Arnoud Vlimmens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Walter De Hoef was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Walter De Hoef. After having played for 95 minutes, Bernardo Sharkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC zoetwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Sharkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Royal Antwerp FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VC zoetwater were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
