Belfegor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Roldanillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joppe Van Kestbeek in the 8th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Cesario struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Arnoud Vlimmens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belfegor FC. After 22nd play minutes Jacinto Cesario shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Arnoud Vlimmens and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 26th minute, Benjamin Roldanillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belfegor FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 29 minutes into the match, Benjamin Roldanillo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Royal Antwerp FC's Arnoud Vlimmens. Arnoud Vlimmens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joppe Van Kestbeek, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp FC defense, Benjamin Roldanillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoud Vlimmens. The Royal Antwerp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoud Vlimmens should have stopped the shot. When Noel Creemers fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Antwerp FC's protests and gave Noel Creemers a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Creemers. Arnoud Vlimmens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Roldanillo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Belfegor FC's corner Simon Lapurdi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnoud Vlimmens quite easily take care of the ball. The Royal Antwerp FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belfegor FC were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Roldanillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Van Beersel during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Royal Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Florian Van Beersel hit a great ball. Arnoud Vlimmens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Piotr Zielinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoud Vlimmens having to interfere. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Fernando Diaz replaced Simon Lapurdi. Belfegor FC's Virgílio Britto was substituted for Mario Hori. Jacinto Cesario struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Arnoud Vlimmens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belfegor FC. If Jacinto Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Francescoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Francescoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arnoud Vlimmens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Enzo Francescoli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnoud Vlimmens. That made the score 0-9 in the 80 minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederic Vanneste to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roel Huvenaerts to maneuver through the defense. When Dong Ming Qian came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dong Ming Qian couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes of play, Belfegor FC's Jacinto Cesario made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoud Vlimmens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belfegor FC's Jacinto Cesario was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
