In the 71st minute, Carmichael Carbery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarne Nijs got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Van der Hoeven. The Royal Antwerp FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Manly FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Manly FC.
