Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Oktay Eğriöz sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. Máximo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Vadillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Erlantz Bermejo hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Paso FC's Oktay Eğriöz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Erlantz Bermejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Portero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erlantz Bermejo scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Portero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Paso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nereo Acosta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nereo Acosta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Máximo Portero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paso FC's Máximo Portero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 39th minute of play. After the first half A.D. Alcorcón were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oktay Eğriöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Oktay Eğriöz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maurino Serena was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 53rdth minute of the game Oktay Eğriöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 54th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paso FC's Máximo Portero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Paso FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 58th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Cante in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurin Mangas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Cante in the 73rd minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ata Cante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ata Cante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurino Serena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Erlantz Bermejo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Paso FC's Máximo Portero. Máximo Portero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabio Cannavaro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Cante, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The A.D. Alcorcón supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D. Alcorcón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
