Marcell Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Damião in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Adrián Espadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcell Barovero. Roceira SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrián Espadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute, one of Roceira SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roceira SC. The referee gave Soroca F.C. a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natalio Mazuste, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero. 0-2. In the 24th minute Ksawery Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 24th minute of play. Adrián Espadas scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcell Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcell Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 87th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
