Tigres Ñacuñán FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislaw Hyska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerom Smoors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes Tigres Ñacuñán FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julien Pulix who took care of the corner kick. Julien Pulix made a great header on SK Mons's corner, it was just that Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste managed to reach the ball for a save. Eloy Mazuste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kong Sen Chen went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to SK Mons getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Remzi Nuri hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trevor Eubank was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Okergun in the 50th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Jerom Smoors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Mons's Jerom Smoors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Okergun in the 59th minute of play. SK Mons's Tony Degraef was substituted for Kong Sen Chen. SK Mons's Luka Van Aken was substituted for Steven Puttemans. Jerom Smoors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Okergun in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Tigres Ñacuñán FC were awarded a corner. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
