In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Danil Shashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danil Shashkov in the 8th minute of the match. Zoilo Doblas made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Waldo Renteria immediately put the ball in play. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danil Shashkov in the 14th minute of play. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Shashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Danil Shashkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Wilhelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Zoilo Doblas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Jürgen Klinsmann was substituted for Marcelo Alagoano. In the 48th minute, Zoilo Doblas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

58 minutes into the match, Danil Shashkov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm. Dario Wilhelm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danil Shashkov in the 62nd minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Waldo Renteria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Macedo. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 74th minute of the match Blumenau Esporte Clube got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Régis Souto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Régis Souto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm did a great save. Felippe Linhares hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Felippe Linhares hit a great ball. Narciso Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Klinsmann in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Singleton. 92 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Klinsmann came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cascade Park West's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Régis Souto was slow to take the kick. During this time Blumenau Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. The Cascade Park West supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cascade Park West would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
