An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Voicu in the 13th minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Voicu in the 38th minute of play. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Peng Yong Guang. After the first half VILLARREAL UNITED were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Carlitos Paredes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Flatline Zombies's Uriel Imbach got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Valentin Voicu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armağan Mukremin. The goal made the score 0-3. Carles Olle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VILLARREAL UNITED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
