After 37 minutes of play, B68 Toftir's Timmie Nyemanting made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernd Yuschni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernd Yuschni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Blomberg in the 40th minute. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volker Gleicke in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Floricel to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Argina scored 2-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beat Leutwyler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volker Gleicke to make the kick off. Bernd Yuschni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Lázaro Lizbeth notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni. Bernd Yuschni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
