Jacek Matuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernd Yuschni. That made the score 5-1 after 94 minutes of play. Hannover Reds's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
