The audience was convinced that Teofilo Lucado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Macedo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to FC SOLOTHURN getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Panait Stolniciu hit a great ball. FC SOLOTHURN's Josué Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Lucado in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Romanian Gods™ were awarded a corner. Teofilo Lucado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Teofilo Lucado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC SOLOTHURN's Josué Macedo did a great save. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Lucado was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Romanian Gods™'s Teofilo Lucado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josué Macedo. That made the score 0-1 after 51 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Lucado got free with Josué Macedo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Romanian Gods™ booed when FC SOLOTHURN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Stolniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Macedo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Teofilo Lucado sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC SOLOTHURN's zone, Matheus Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Macedo came out of the goal and Matheus Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Lucados short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Josué Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Ciolli during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Achille Ciolli kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Romanian Gods™'s Ionuț Cosoroabă was substituted for Teofilo Lucado. In the 80th match minute, FC SOLOTHURN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Ciolli to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Cosoroabă got free with Josué Macedo in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Romanian Gods™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
