Leif Kohler hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Adam Wielowiejski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Gebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC 08 Brühl defense, Adam Wielowiejski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Connor Gebert. The FC 08 Brühl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Connor Gebert should have stopped the shot. Arthur Hengemühl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Connor Gebert firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Jeanneret in the 31st minute of play forced FC 08 Brühl's goalkeeper Connor Gebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Adrian Tărău had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrick Zeier. Tarada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Tărău was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Tarada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC 08 Brühl were winning 1-2.

Tarada made a substitution. Florian Walther replaced Piotrek Zielinski. Dolf von Dreusche lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, FC 08 Brühl's Dolf von Dreusche got a free kick in the 56th minute. Connor Gebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Hengemühl in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tizian Lengen hit a great ball. If Stian Aarflot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Arne Boehm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Tărău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Marek Majdoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play, Tarada's Stian Aarflot made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Connor Gebert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tarada's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adrian Tărău 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Arne Boehm kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Arne Boehm took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Henrick Zeier to make any attempt to save it. Connor Gebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Wielowiejski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Hengemühl took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Connor Gebert. Connor Gebert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The FC 08 Brühl players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
