Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Boehm, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Connor Gebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Roman Kreuter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, 1. Nico Gruenewald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Connor Gebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bonifatius Scarano's late challenge caught a FC 08 Brühl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifatius Scarano helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Tărăus short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Heiner Studer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ali Galip Salik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Heiner Studer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Ganz in the 66th minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Eduard Ganz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Heiner Studer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's goal looked a bit too open when Owain Wollenmann came free, but Connor Gebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor Gebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Gruenewald, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC 08 Brühl's Adrian Tărău slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Heiner Studer. That made the score 0-3 after 77 minutes of play. Arne Boehm kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Louie Anderjoli kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Casimir Wickihalter charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimir Wickihalter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Casimir Wickihalter got a free kick in the 91st minute. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Boehm in the 96th minute of play. The 1. FC Union Weberei supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC 08 Brühl's performance. The match ended with a win for FC 08 Brühl.
