Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Academica Pulheim's Conny Stober started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Conny Stober notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tarada's Hubert Gauthier. Hubert Gauthier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hubert Gauthier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Anzengruber in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Christoph Sönksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Mauritz Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dietrich Heppner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jari Anzengruber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Schaaf to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Gauthier came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Jari Anzengruber. But to his dismay, Jari Anzengruber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Conny Stober's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Gauthier was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The corner ended in Hartmut Holtzmann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tarada's Hubert Gauthier did a great save. Julius Mulack hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Michael Paziorek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hubert Gauthier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Paziorek in the 38th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Hubert Gauthier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Gauthier came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Jari Anzengruber. But to his dismay, Jari Anzengruber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 42nd match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Rohner to maneuver through the defense. Jari Anzengruber charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jari Anzengruber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Jari Anzengruber. The Tarada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academica Pulheim were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fremont Trüssel to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Academica Pulheim's Hubert Gauthier threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conny Stober, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 55 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Michael Paziorek. If Fremont Trüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dietrich Heppner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauritz Ackerman in the 60th minute of play. Hubert Gauthier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Stober in the 61st minute of play. Michael Paziorek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hubert Gauthier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Michael Paziorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Hubert Gauthier made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Arno Rohner notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Academica Pulheim's Dietrich Heppner. Dietrich Heppner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Arnd Freye replaced Christoph Sönksen. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Noel Schaffert replaced Michael Paziorek. After having played for 75 minutes, Noel Schaffert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academica Pulheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Schaffert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alwin Korte charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alwin Korte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alwin Korte kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Arnd Freye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academica Pulheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnd Freye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Gauthier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otto Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Hubert Gauthier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Stober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Mauritz Ackerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Schaffert took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Gauthier. Hubert Gauthier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Academica Pulheim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
