Hipolito Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Bitxintxo in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Aldo Enmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Electric Futbol Club's Hipolito Jerrold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Cayo in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Ebardo got free with Filomeno Tirso in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Electric Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Bitxintxo came free, but Hipolito Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Tirso made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aldo Enmanuel sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Electric Futbol Club's Niceto Ciano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Aldo Enmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Electric Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ulises Bitxintxo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Jerrold. Hipolito Jerrold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Lekubegi was the one to do the kick off. If Ezequiel Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Electric Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
