The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Csabagyöngye's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Filip Barbosu scored to the left of an out of position Péter Mészáros, making the score, 1-0. Péter Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Filip Barbosu sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Kranji Crunchy's Péter Mészáros threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gofar Pohan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Filip Barbosu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Kranji Crunchy got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Precioso. Alfred Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Dömötör, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Conrado Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Conrado Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Csabagyöngye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 26th minute, Gergely Dobi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Hutton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Filip Barbosu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Péter Mészáros firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 32 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by Barnabás Takács. The crowd rose to their feet as Filip Barbosu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Péter Mészáros. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. In the 36th minute Kranji Crunchy were awarded a corner. Cirilo Bembe went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Kranji Crunchy's corner Cirilo Bembe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Péter Mészáros quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Kranji Crunchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chung Kring to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richárd Herceg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Kranji Crunchy's Gofar Pohan got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gofar Pohan in the 53rd minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kranji Crunchy's Alfred Hutton got control of the ball when Gabriel Fabelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Csabagyöngye's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gergely Dobi in the 55th minute. Alfred Hutton made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gabriel Fabelo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when Kranji Crunchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jojon Sopandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gabriel Fabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kranji Crunchy's Alfred Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Kranji Crunchy from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Gofar Pohan came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Róbert Dömötör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Fabelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Hutton was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Kranji Crunchy's Alfred Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Fabelo in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Csabagyöngye walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
