Selmo Illescas came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Csabagyöngye's Róbert Dömötör. But to his dismay, Róbert Dömötör quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nistor Conta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Péter Mészáros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the demir idmanyurdu defense, Gergely Dobi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selmo Illescas. The demir idmanyurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selmo Illescas should have stopped the shot. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Kuluk, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Taner in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Csabagyöngye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulvi Nizami was slow to take the kick. During this time demir idmanyurdu's players had a chance to rest. demir idmanyurdu's Ulvi Nizami was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Péter Mészáros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 34 minutes of play, Csabagyöngye's Conrado Saraiva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selmo Illescas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, demir idmanyurdu's Halit Tomurcuk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Dömötör in the 44th minute of play forced demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes demir idmanyurdu got a freekick which was hit by Davut Sabuncuoğlu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilgaz Taner made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sever Baldu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes demir idmanyurdu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gergely Dobi who took care of the corner kick. Conrado Saraiva came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Selmo Illescas could save by the left post. Selmo Illescas made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gabriel Fabelo sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Conrado Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Selmo Illescas. demir idmanyurdu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 76thth minute of the game Ilgaz Taner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Csabagyöngye's Dávid Hegyi got a free kick in the 77th minute. Nistor Conta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Péter Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Conta in the 87th minute of play. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilgaz Taner, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save demir idmanyurdu from getting a goal against them. The Csabagyöngye supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Csabagyöngye would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
