In the 3rdth minute of the game Paulo José Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brasiliense FC's Luiz Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes in the game, Silvério Carneiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Moisés Antunes having to interfere. Luiz Pombal came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Monumento Sports's Gernando Quintal. But to his dismay, Gernando Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Celsinho Dionísio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Antunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Celsinho Dionísio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. If Gernando Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Quintal went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Moisés Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Celsinho Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasiliense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Giovanni Souto hit a great ball. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Seco. 56 minutes into the game, Celsinho Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Moisés Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gernando Quintal struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Luiz Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monumento Sports. 64 minutes into the game, Wilson Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Moisés Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute Celsinho Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Baiano in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Silvério Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasiliense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. If Celsinho Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Wilson Reis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Giovanni Souto's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Souto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute of the match Nuno Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Antunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Brasiliense FC's Celsinho Dionísio made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes, Brasiliense FC's Luís Fábio Goiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moisés Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brasiliense FC reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Dionísio came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Luís Fábio Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasiliense FC and the Monumento Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Fábio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Moisés Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Dionísio in the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brasiliense FC had played much better football throughout.
