Gil Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 22 minutes on the clock, Luiz Galvão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of AF CERRADO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AF CERRADO. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for S.C. Reis United. Fabinho Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Velloso. 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Enio Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Reis United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. After 26 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Enio Matorin. Arí Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. João Paulo Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho de Toledo in the 30th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Gil Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Koehler hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ezequiel Melo hit a great ball. Gil Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes of play, S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodriguinho de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Elói Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AF CERRADO's Gil Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ezequiel Melo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Melo couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, S.C. Reis United's Elói Koehler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Ezequiel Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Urbano having to interfere. Artur Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched S.C. Reis United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
