Reis United's Fabinho Pereira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davi Couto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Reis United reached it. October 04's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Rodriguinho de Toledo scored to the left of an out of position Davi Couto, making the score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho de Toledo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of October 04's Davi Couto. Davi Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Davi Couto came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Davi Couto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rodriguinho de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of October 04 booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by October 04's Luís Eduardo França. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Amadeu Negri got a free kick in the 36th minute. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in October 04's zone, Rodriguinho de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Couto came out of the goal and Rodriguinho de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Rodriguinho de Toledo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Davi Couto. The goal made the score 4-1. Thanks to some nice moves Rodriguinho de Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Davi Couto however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Eduardo França was the one to do the kick off. João Paulo Urbano was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Luís Eduardo França capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Eduardo França really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Angelo Barbosa hit a great ball. Davi Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Urbano having to interfere. Davi Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo in the 68th minute of the match. October 04 made a substitution. Toni Ramos replaced Jorginho Antunes. After 71 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Cardoso. October 04's Davi Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Gaspar in the 73rd minute of play. When Eduardo Gaspar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. João Paulo Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Fontes went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Luís Eduardo França hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in October 04's zone, Paulo Renato Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Couto came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rodriguinho de Toledo scored 5-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davi Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. S.C. Reis United's Clóvis Nunes was substituted for Rafa Mello. Alex Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Fabinho Pereira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davi Couto. October 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Alex Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
